New From MassHire!
MassHire MNWB is partnering with Bunker Hill Community College to sponsor a pharmacy technician training program for low-income young adults (ages 18-21) with high school diplomas (or equivalent) and who reside in the Metro North region.
Accepted students will enroll in a virtual semester-long course at Bunker Hill in Spring 2022; additionally, they will participate in externships at area hospitals and pharmacies to gain valuable work experience. Students have access to individual career coaching and complete self-paced career readiness modules over the course of the semester. At the end of the program, students sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam to qualify for their pharmacy technician license.
MassHire will cover course tuition, cost of textbooks, a stipend, and license fees– this is a fully-sponsored opportunity for aspiring pharmacy technicians.
MassHire and Professor Richard Yost from Bunker Hill will be hosting information sessions on Nov. 4, Nov. 19, and Dec. 7. Inquiries may be directed to Grace Evans, Youth Programs Specialist: [email protected].
