LGBTQ+ Teen Support Group
The Eliot Family Resource Center is excited to announce a new weekly support group for LGBTQ+ high school students. The group will meet Thursdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m., beginning on November 4, at the Eliot Family Resource Center (548 Broadway, entrance on Maple Street).
Participation is confidential. We will explore topics including gender identity and expression, coming out to family or friends, mental health, religion and culture, relationships, sexual education, and more. A meal will be provided each week for participants. Face coverings are required. Meetings will not be held on days when school is not in session.

About the facilitators:
Willow Reader (they/them) is an MSW student at Salem State University and an intern with the Family Resource Center. Willow brings their undergraduate background in gender studies, lived experience as a queer and trans person, group facilitation experience, and a passion for working with high school students.
Amanda Cronin (she/her), LCSW, is the Clinical Supervisor at the Family Resource Center. Amanda has experience working with adolescents individually and in group settings and is an ally to and supporter of the LGBTQ community.
