February 2, 2026

Everett High School Families:

We hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

February is Black History Month, which is a time to recognize the achievements, culture, and contributions of Black people throughout history. It promotes learning about diverse perspectives, fosters appreciation and respect in our community, and at EHS, each morning, we will highlight the accomplishments of an influential leader whose work made a lasting, positive impact on society.

The second academic quarter (semester 1) has been extended by two days due to the snow days last week. The second academic quarter (semester 1) will now end on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Please see the assessment calendar below for further details.

During MyCap on Monday, students in Grades 9, 10, and 11 will continue to choose courses for next school year.

This Wednesday (February 4, 2026) is a Late-Entry day for Teacher Professional Development. Please see the schedule below.

Lastly, this week is National School Counseling Week. This is an opportunity for the school community to honor our School Counselors.

Have a great week!

Thank you,
Dr. Braga
