Wednesday, March 4, 2026, is a Late-Entry day. The schedule is below within this message.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on March 5, 2026 (Thursday). The conferences are scheduled to be online. To support the scheduling of online conferences, EHS will be using the Pick-A-Time application. The application will support families with scheduling the conferences.

Directions for using the Pick-A-Time Application

As a reminder, below is our tardy protocol at EHS
:7:30 a.m. — EHS doors open, breakfast is available
7:45 a.m. — Students move to their homeroom
8:00 a.m. — Homeroom begins
8:01 a.m. — Students are marked tardy to school; students who arrive at homeroom at 8:01am or after will be marked tardy
8:07 a.m. — Homeroom ends, and students move to their first period class

*EHS takes into consideration the weather conditions when excusing tardies.

Students are unable to lock their scooters or bikes on the ramp at the front of the school.

Springpoint Visit
At EHS, we are engaging with the Barr Foundation here in Boston to enhance our instructional work. We are partnering with Springpoint on this work. Springpoint will be visiting EHS this week on Thursday and Friday (March 05, 2026, and March 06, 2026).

Bathroom Procedures

At Everett High School, the bathrooms are locked during the first and last 7 minutes of each class. Outside of these times, they remain unlocked and accessible. If a student needs to use the bathroom during those locked periods, the student can either:

Ask their classroom teacher to contact a school administrator to unlock it.
Ask for assistance from a staff member near the bathroom to unlock it.

While this is a new procedure for Everett High School, it is a common practice in many high schools. The bathrooms on the first floor are open throughout the day. We value your support in maintaining consistent procedures at Everett High School.

Attendance Updates

Everett High School will be eliminating the policy that assigns an E grade to students after a certain number of absences. Instead, we will implement a new policy emphasizing regular outreach to maintain consistent daily attendance. Attendance will continue to impact a student’s eligibility for summer school. Please see the updated attendance protocol below. These documents will be added to each weekly email.

Student Expectations

Personal Device Laptops and Computers

Students are encouraged not to bring personal laptops or computers to school, as every student should have a Chromebook. The school-issued Chromebook provides direct access to all necessary educational applications. If a student does not have a Chromebook, the student should contact their homeroom teacher. The technology department is located at Everett High School and can assist with any issues.
